oh deary me did we go hard on this one. seven weeks out on this run and i am tie tie. how incredibly nice that some tvcy'ers made us thanksgiving diner a bit early in fayetville for our last night of the fall tour. what a good last night it was. crowd was great, band felt good. there was some rock bliss.
of course we will be playing this sunday in seattle, but i do feel the sense of going home. a good thing indeed, but there's always this low feeling that comes with a tour ending for a few days.
but enough of that, there's much to do! when i get home, i will set to work editing the bonfire video and i cannot wait to dig into that footage. i am also going through the thousands of photos we've done over the last few years. they are going to put together in a coffee table book we are calling "ursa rising." it's the story, mostly in photos of the band from the period just before arion left up to the bonfire video. it will even have some photos of the ursa minor recordings.
speaking of ursa minor, we will also get to work on ursa minor in december when i am not going off and playing christmas shows and such. i am so very excited to be recording ursa minor. we are going to do it fully on tape instead of no fun protools and we are going to all play together.
here's the question: should be put the live version of monotov's on it? i think we should.

Definitely put the live version of Monotav's on Ursa Minor. I heard it at Raleigh, it was fucking sick. I like the studio version on Major just fine, but as far as getting a crowd into a new song, that mix is top notch, and should undoubtedly be included on Minor. Either that, or you need to put out a fucking live album. It's been over twelve fucking years Jenkins, I'm sure you have some dope live recordings that if compiled would make a diesel live album. Fans would be on that like shit on velcro. I know I would.
