Loves writing, loathes writing about oneself.. Oh well..

My two biggest passions are literature and music, both which stem from the greatest thing in the world, writing. Writing, should and does, exist and occur, involuntarily, like breathing. Because writing is feeling, it touches the surface through our release and it is real. There are roots of truth in even the most wildest of fiction and fantasy. The feelings that are buried inside one's soul are what we bring to life through words. My favorite pieces of literature at J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye," F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby," William Shakespeare's "Macbeth" and "Hamlet," and William Ernest Henley's "Invictus." In addition to Third Eye Blind, I adore The Beatles. I also love the work of Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20, Billy Joel, The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac Shakur, and Jeff Buckley.. just to name a few! John Lennon is my hero and Batman is my favorite superhero. I am fascinated by my favorite villain of all time, Heath Ledger's Joker. Some of my favorite films include The Dark Knight, Fight Club, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloween, 1408, V for Vendetta, Cruel Intentions, Brokeback Mountain, Scream, Shakespeare in Love, Vanilla Sky, Eyes Wide Shut, and American Psycho. I'm not too big on television except for reruns of Friends, The L Word, and Forensic Files. My Mitsubishi Eclipse and Palm Treo are pretty much all I need to function. I love animals, especially rabbits and cats, they are amazing and intelligent little creatures. I once had a goldfish for nine years that my sister won at a carnival. I love Miller Lite and Jack Daniels (my namesake, after all my initials are JD).I'm always craving sushi, french onion soup, or taco bell. Ironically enough, I hate winter. I was born in February. Go figure. I love autumn and summer. I enjoy photography, both digital and old school.. the whole process, taking pictures, developing, and all that jazz. I love going to Central Park with my girlfriend and staying there for hours in the nice weather. I could spend hours upon hours wandering around The Museum of Natural History and The Metropolitan Museum of Art and love every second of it. My favorite Presidents are JFK, Lincoln, and FDR. I love playing Scrabble. I love winning Scrabble even more. Murder mysteries fascinate me. Marxism intrigues me. I wish more people would want to play Monopoly. And so it goes..

I have had the pleasure of seeing Third Eye Blind in concert seven times and meeting the guys a few times.. Hopefully many more to come..
