2009 was a pretty good year :) sometimes it's nice to reflect back on all that has happened. I feel like I'm definitely not the person I started out as at the beginning of the year and I made a lot of decisions that helped me grow. Heh, I don't know if advice was what I meant (And I really don't think I gave any?), but consoling, understanding, that type of thing, yeah. I wanted to try to cheer you up.
I've lived in Schenectady my entire life, and I could still get lost here...but I also generally have a horrible sense of direction. I have to say, I'm damn surprised you said it was pretty. Almost everyone here will disagree with you. If you ever go to downtown Schenectady, or worse yet, downtown Troy, you'll almost be sure to change your mind. Personally, I think it could be a lot worse, and it's not as shitty as people say, but everyone just seems to want out. I mean, I could go on and on about the murder rate and teenage pregnancy and all of that, too, but I'll spare you.
Getting back more to the original topic, I'm glad you're feeling better. Try not to let people get you down. It's sad when friendships fade, but don't let it ruin the memories. Don't let it stop you from living your life, making new friends, creating more memories.
Do you like The Beatles? I try to keep in mind In My Life. Of all the Beatles songs I love, that one has to be my favorite.
