Show was great! Crowd blew hard though. 1 in 10 proved to be a struggle but it was definitely still worth it to see it live--opposing all the haters of it out there, I rather like it. Tao of St. Paul was played apparently for the first time this tour. Again, the crowd sucked and it showed. Only 1 encore song and according to the set list a few others were cut as well. All in all though, a fairly rockin' show--Can You Take Me keeps getting better and I really, really can't wait to hear a true studio version. Also, SJ did say during the show that the album was slated for a "late June" release which is awesome in light of all the August talk. Got to meet the guys after the show. Honestly, I don't know how they do it night in and night out. A bunch of people waiting for them outside must be irritating when you just want to eat something/sleep/drink/get to the next gig, but they were awesome and incredibly friendly. Great show and worth the drive as usual! Come to Canada!!

You posted this blog on my birthday. :)
Hey you were totally right! The crowd sucked! How about the douche bags yelling jumper the whole show? I went to the moravian college show before this and the House of Blues in AC after this and Scranton was definitely my least favorite because the crowd sucked! But that is Scranton for you! haha. And I got stuck sitting next to some guy that smelled like camp fire. It was really gross! I think I remember you from after the show. I think getting to meet them was the best part of the Scranton show. : ) Oh and some guy got taken out in handcuffs from the balcony, I was going to the ladies room after the opening band and saw them. I wonder what happend!
not so sure where i said that the show itself or the performance was bad, the music and songs added to the setlist from the show in buffalo two weeks ago was great, but I stand by the fact that the majority of the crowd sucked. i was tenth row, which isn't as great as being front and centre in buffalo, and from there on back it sorta sucked. people just stood there not even clapping, so i stand by my assertion that the crowd sucked. other than that the show was great as usual.
I have to agree...it wasnt one of the better shows I've been to. The crowd wasn't really into it and I partially blame that on it being a seated show. Huge bummer. The setlist seemed kind of short...I wonder if the kid running on stage and getting knocked out had anything to do with it. Plus, I can't stand obnoxious drunk people at concerts. I guess I can't complain though considering it was only 5 minutes from my house.
I see you were hanging around after the show. I was there...not sure if I remember you, but I'm sure I did see you there :)
whats with the crowd sucked dude? not where i was sittin..where was your seat? from my view the crowd was awesome.. except the idiot that jumped on the stage..he wont be doing that ever again..I think they killed him! did anybody see that??? i think the show was a lot better then u r discribin it.. go back to canada....lol.. just kiddin but seriously dude..bad review!
Yes, it was sad to not hear ASK and DBAW again, but I saw them in Buffalo two weeks ago so it was nice to hear some new stuff in return. All in all a great show.
And, thanks!!
I'm glad you had fun. :)
Thanks for the review and set list! Looks like you got to meet SJ to? Very cool. I'm a little sad to see ASK and BDAW didn't make the set. Hopefully they come back soon!
